Terms and Conditions for all purchases sold by Kiva & Zen Bridal Devon

Purchase of all gowns:
• Deposits of all bridal and Bridesmaid dresses are taken at 50% of the total garment price, payable upon ordering and are NON-REFUNDABLE in any circumstance.
• The remaining balance of the order must be paid as soon as you are notified by Kiva & Zen Bridal Devon that your dress has landed, failure to do this may result in the loss of your deposit. Balances not met within this period will incur a £40 per week storage charge (imposed by the designer.)
• All gowns remain the property of Kiva & Zen Bridal Devon until paid for in full.
• All monies paid are non‐transferable or refundable.
• Once a deposit is paid you have no rights if you simply just change your mind (Sales of Goods Act 1979.) If you do, you will forfeit your deposit or pay balance, pick up your dress and sell it on yourself, we cannot help in this instance.
• Gowns requiring extra length or special measures are subject to surcharge carried forward to the customer from the manufacturer.
• No alterations will be carried out until your garment(s) is PAID FOR IN FULL. Alteration costs will go straight to the independent seamstress.

Purchase Of Shoes and accessories:
• Shoes and accessories must be paid for in full prior to items being ordered.
• Shoes and accessories are non‐refundable after ordering.
• Veils, headdresses and belts cannot be refunded or exchanged as they are made bespoke for you on placing your order and not from stock.
• Kiva & Zen Bridal Devon will take no responsibility for shoes, veils, headdresses or belts once they have left the premises.

Cancelation of Wedding:
• In the event of a wedding being canceled or the gown no longer being wanted, the balance becomes payable immediately and all goods must be collected. It is not possible to forfeit the 50% deposit and not pay the remaining balance.

Payments:
• Accepted payment is by cash, debit or credit cards either in person or by telephone. Amex and cheques are not accepted.

Sample Gowns:
• We take great care with our display gowns, however it is your responsibility to check that you are happy with the dress when you try it on. In particular please bear in mind that samples are ex‐ display gowns and may have small imperfections like missing beads or pulls and have therefore been priced accordingly. These prices are set and non‐negotiable.
• No refunds or exchanges are available on these gowns and are strictly sold as seen.
• Repairs and dry cleaning are not included in the price.
• Please note that if you are purchasing a gown that does not fit you perfectly, we will always give you honest advice on whether a dress can be altered to fit you. However the customer is solely responsible for purchasing a gown that does not fit and does so at their own risk.
• Kiva & Zen Bridal Devon will not be liable for any charges related to seamstress alterations leaving the full responsibility with the customer.

Nothing in the above shall affect your statutory rights.
